How a delivery works
Every order is a short negotiation between the customer and nearby drivers. You decide if it suits you.
Exact values depend on your country.
The customer makes an offer
When confirming the order, the customer proposes how much to pay for the delivery within the limits for their country.
You accept, counter or pass
If you are nearby, you see the order in your app with the offer, the distance and the times. You accept, propose your price or pass if it does not suit you.
The customer chooses
They compare each offer by price, pickup time, delivery time and distance, and pick one. If they pick yours, the order is yours.
You pick up with a QR
When the business marks the order as ready, you scan its pickup QR: that way both confirm the package left.
You deliver with a QR or PIN
On arrival, you scan the customer's QR or enter their PIN. The customer can also tap “I received it”.
You get paid
The customer pays on receipt and chooses a tip. 100% of your delivery and tip is credited to your account once the delivery is confirmed.

How much of each delivery do I keep?
Everything agreed for the delivery, plus the tip, once the delivery is confirmed. Colibrí charges no per-order commission.
Which vehicles are accepted?
It depends on your country. Choose your country to see the accepted vehicles.
What is the security deposit for?
It covers failures and lets you accept cash orders. The minimum balance to accept them is set for your area.
Why do you ask for a selfie?
We run random identity checks to keep everyone safe.
Am I an employee or partner of Colibrí?
No. Colibrí is a technology platform. You use the tool as an independent person: you decide when to connect, which orders to accept and at what price. There is no schedule, no exclusivity and no labor or corporate relationship.
When do I receive the payment for each delivery?
When the customer pays on receiving the order: 100% of your delivery and tip is credited to your account once the delivery is confirmed. If their card is declined, you see the order as “payment pending” while Colibrí retries the charge.
